I recently added a rear sway bar, new springs, KYB shocks, and boxed lower control arms to my 65 GTO. Does anyone know the torque specs for the bolts on the control arms?
I appreciate the help.

According to my '67 service manual, if you are tightening the control arm nut it is 80 foot pounds, and if tightening the bolt it is 105. I would use those specs if you still have the rubber bushings. I like to keep things looser with polyurethane bushings and use Loctite on the nuts, but that's just a personal preference. With the polyurethane I just snug things up and stop.

So I've been wanting to get back and ask about this answer on torque specs, my new Spohn upper control arms with poly bushing on the diff and roto joints on the frame called for 70lbs resting on the ground, and my SSM lower arms call for factory torque specs on the ground. They all have interference nuts and I put them all to 70lbs, is this going to be ok?
