Looking for a hood for my 66 lemans, what's ur opinion for a decent price for a hood, not needing much more than a re-paint.

A clean GM 65-67 GTO hood around here, will bring $500 - $700. 65-67 lemans hoods $150.

Think it will be cheaper. Franks Pontiac Parts has Tempest/Lemans hoods for $295 and he's expensive on parts. I had a super clean '64 Lemans hood ready to bolt on if you had the same color car and I finally gave it away for $250 because there just wasn't much demand for a Lemans hood. Everybody wanted GTO hoods.

In CA, '65-'67 GTO hoods that are original and decent will bring $800-$1200. The OP is asking for a GTO hood.

Well then, OPGI has 65-67 GTO hoods for $417.99 and eBay has Dynacorn for $799.99.

Actually I'd trust Ames more and they have 65-67 GTO hoods for $479 and 65-67 Lemans/Tempest hoods for $459.

Hoods are all over the place...

I've got 2 options right now, one in NH for $1500(says there is wiggle room) already black no need to paint and one right here in CT for $750, would need to repaint.

Make sure you check the undersides for rust, especially at the front nose of hood.

Yea, asked for pics of the underside of hood, one in NH looks like least amount of work and already black to match my car
