I have a 2005 GTO, still my daily driver after 11 years. Been having an intermittent rattle when the ac/heater fan is on - in all 4 settings, whether the AC compressor is engaged or not. It blows fine whether running full ac, just fan or heater, just annoying rattle. Assuming it is the blower motor, but before I bite the bullet and take to an AC shop that's gonna tell me whatever they can guess, thought I'd see if anyone else had the same problem, if they'd figured it out and what it took to get the issue resolved.

FYI - Just replaced ac condenser and compressor and it blows ice cold. No unusual noise from under the hood.

Could be the blower motor itself, or debris in the fan. Never had that happen on my GTO but I've had to clean pieces of leaves etc. out of the fan in other vehicles. Don't know the difficulty level of getting into where the blower motor fan is on a GTO because I haven't had to do that as of yet but I recall that the instrument panel has to be removed to get to it.
