Bought my first GTO (1968 convertible), when I was 26. Prior to that I owned a '70 Tempest and a '72 LeMans. I will be 47 in November and I still have my GTO!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAZ!!! ^^^^

Just turned 40 in November. As of right now, I have 2 GTO's (well Pontiacs anyway) a 2005 MBM A4 and a 1969 Custom S that will be a GTO clone (sort of).

That said, I bought my first GTO (a 68) when I was 16-17 my second (a 69) when I was about 20 and my 3rd (a 72) when I was 22. None were wrecked and I ended up selling them all. (Unfortunately)

Kids CAN own a hot rod (lots did back in the 70's) they just need to be raised right and know how to drive it and handle power - LOTS OF POWER - to the rear wheels.
