I had a 1995 Mustang Gt and was going to buy a 2000 mustang gt but thought they were very UGLY but they grew on me .still looking at the 2006 Mustang Gts very nice cars but very Overpriced.Thought the GTOs 2004 GTOs were very UGLY and the 2005s were still UGLYYYY,but they are growing on me.Not a bad looking car at all.Johnny :willy:

I thought the 04s were plain at first. I have come to like the understated styling, especially after taking the spoiler off. I now think they look better than the 05 (except for the split exhaust!).

Glad you are very happy with it.I still think dealers are asking to much for it.I am glad that there are sites that can give us what the Dealer pays for the cars.I know when we get into Aug and sept there will be bigger rebates.I never spoke to a dealer as of yet because i know that they will not come down much.I am looking to trade in my 2002 Mustang GT and hope i get at least $10,000-$12000 for it.And it will leave me with
$5000-$7000 and also putting down
$10,000 in cash so it leaves me with $15000--$17,000 down on the GTO....
So if i can get the GTO for under$29,000 it will leave me around $12,000 on a GMAC loan with a low interest rate i hope.Thats what i am planing on.Johnny

You should be able to find a new or very slightly used 04 GTO for $22-24K. I would have liked an 05 with 50 extra hp (and split exhaust) but the price I got for my 04 made too much sense. 50 hp wasn't worth $10K; I could add 50 hp for way less than that if I had to.
