I've heard a couple people talk about their B&M's coming loose. Well my shifter sheared the back bolt that holds the shift mechanism to the body. The guy that repaired it ended up going to a hardware store to get a bolt for it because he said the stock one would shear off again. He also replaced most of the nuts because they were starting to loosen up even though they were locktited on. He used a (I think he said) Nylon locking machine nut, and then used locktite in addittion. He said he was having a similar problem on a race Corvette that he competed with and that fixed it.
