I'm getting the itch to trade in my Z-28 for a GTO. Does anyone who cycles, rows, or kayaks have a good solution for transporting? Car tops? Trunk bike racks? I just fold the seat down, pop the hatch, and throw my bike in fully assembled on my Z-28.

This is also a concern for me. I need a trailer hitch to hold my bike rack. I am not to cool with putting my bike on the roof.

A friend of mine owns a bike shop, I have tried yakima and thule and neither one has one or plans to make one, they say to go with trunk mount but you have to be carefull of which one you choose because of spoilier. Iam going to go with hitch mount as soon as I can find a hitch a GTO.

Just found an older post with more info

There will be at least one hitch for the GTO. After doing some research, I discovered that Curt Manufacturing will be making a GTO hitch. The hitch is currently on their engineering list and has a number assigned to it. Could be up to three months away.

You can check on it at their website: www.curtmfg.com or call 877-287-8634.
