I was rebuilding my blower motor switch and figured I'd take some pictures for anyone who doesn't want to spend the $90 on a new one. After wiping the gunk off the contacts and putting it back together, it's working again.

Just make sure you get the orientation of the copper piece right. The notch should point toward the two mounting tabs on the body.

Another note: Be careful when you take the back plate off. The spring and its accompanying parts are gonna fly everywhere.

I'm glad you got yours back in shape. The fiber board on my 67 disintegrated upon disassembly rendering it DONE. What's another $90 at this point...lol!

I've rebuilt my heater switches too. Not much to it. A good pencil eraser to clean the contacts, clean the old grease out, apply new grease and all is well.
Did the same thing for my fuel sender. Very easy.

Just to confirm, I should be using dielectric grease correct?
