For some reason my 04 keeps blowing fuses for the turning signals. the dealer dont know why. any guesses? :confused

Come on guys i cant be the only one with this problem. They have had my car for 17 days and im stuck in a bonneville.

if it is only your turn signals Id switch back to the gto and do manual ones, I was away from my gto twice due to GM the first time was 28 days and the 2nd was 45 days, it's tough to be away from the goat.

I also dont trust what the dealership does with your car when it is on their lot.

I've heard that in some of the '04s that there's an issue where the wires come in contact with some of the metal body structure. If the wires vibrate -- the insulation eventually wears out -- resulting in metal to metal contact and a short which blows the fuse.

If you dealer is just being stupid and swapping fuses out -- you might want to ask them to rerun the wiring all the way through. Surprised they haven't already recommended something like replacing the harness.
