Better late then never in posting this...

Last years GM Nationals show CCGTO attended with a respectable turn out and with the help of members from GONE, we took 2nd place for Club participation. Which is the reason I'm posting this up. We would like to take this years GM National event 1st place away from the Impala Guys by moving CCGTO/GONE up to 1st and it would be great if our brothers of SVGTO take the 2nd place spot just to see Pontiac GTO clubs rule the top spots during the same year GM decided to axe the division.

Everybody is welcome to run with CCGTO.... the only rule for membership, your in if you show up with a 04~06 last ever model Pontiac GTO. Registering on ccgto.com and putting a sticker on your goat are optional, if you choose to go that far. Its free to join with no membership fee or rules.... except, we do require all non-04~06 goats to roll in the rear of the herd.

We have potentially 70+ goats interested and with another 8 registered by the end of next week, the event organizers will provide us with a free 50'X20' tent, along with tables and chairs located by the Pontiac Pavilion. Its always great to read people are interested by saying they are in... but, you HAVE to register to really be in... and that can only be done by clicking the online registration link in the 1st paragraph at;

Carlisle Events All-GM Nationals. Experience The Cars. The People. The Excitement.

or via "Showfield registration" at;

Carlisle Events Online Registration & Passes: 2009 All-GM Nationals Showfield (Sponsored by NPD)

and on the form line that asks "Club" go to "Other"... type in the letters, CCGTO/GONE.

Post up if your going and registered with us.

Quote from the Carlisle wed site....

PONTIAC PAVILION
Pontiac Enthusiast Magazine is sponsoring the “Pontiac Pavilion”.

Doing their part to help last year, the folks Pontiac Enthusiast Magazine stepped up and created the Pontiac Pavilion where you could see up close and personal some of the cover and feature cars that graced the pages of their magazine. With the help of Pontiac, they also featured the Pontiac Solstice Coupe concept, the Red Bull Drift Solstice and the Solstice from the hit TV show “Setup”. Jim Wangers and David Anderson, along with the Gee-T-O Tiger were on hand to chat and sign autographs for their fans in the Pavilion. More of the same is planned for the 2009 edition of the All-GM Nationals, June 26-28, 2009.

The GTO was well represented this year by two different clubs, the Capitol City GTOs and the Susquehanna Valley GTO Tigers. They brought LOTS of GTOs. Thanks guys! Be sure to register early for the 2009 event. Pre-Registration is now open. Register for the All-GM Nationals, June 26-28, 2009. Save some bucks and be a part of the elite.

Many new stars were discovered by the editors from Pontiac Enthusiast Magazine. Check out their website and the pages of their magazine to catch up on all the latest from them, and their plans for the 2009 All-GM Nationals.

CCGTO Convoy Route to GM Nationals

CCGTO and Friends,
The VA/DC/MD/PA herd rolls up on Saturday morning 6/27 and will meet anyone who would like to head up with us, either at one of the early gathering locations or across from the Gettysburg oultlet mall or lastly from the Carlislie Home Depot before rolling into the show.

Here's the route and time line for Saturday's run to Carlisle if you want to cruise up with the herd on 6/27. From your location, just look for the nearest point and time line to be to join the herd. For the PA and GONE guys who are not meeting us in Gettysburg, we can do another roll by at the Home Depot in Carlisle or meet on the show grounds.

Directions;
Starting off with the Northern Virginia guys meeting at FairOaks Mall, plan to depart the Mall at 0645AM. Make sure your there in time to be able to leave at that time.

The route will be, travel up I-66 East too I-495 too I-270 up too Frederick, Md. Once at Frederick you'll jump onto Rt-15 north to Gettysburg, Pa.

You should arrive at Gettysburg (across the street from 1863 Gettysburg Village Dr.#5, Gettysburg, Pa 17325 in the Amish Market parking lot) approx 0800-0815AM. We will depart this check point at 0830AM and travel up Rt-15 into Carlisle to the Home Depot (1013 S. Hanover St. Carlisle, Pa. 17013) and rendezvous with the PA /GONE crew at 0900-0915AM.

We should be able to arrive at the show field by 0930AM or around that time.

Make sure to mark the times and the addresses for those of you who have GPS. Its not required but PM me your cell number and I'll revert with mine incase people run off schedule.

A few links that provide directions and maps. You might want to print a copy of the Gettysburg and Carlisle meet locations and stuff em in your glove box for reference.
