Hey everyone,

I’ve got a few bulbs to change out behind the dash in the 70 GTO. I’m looking for some expert tips and tricks.

I need to change out:
Fuel gauge bulb
Right blinker indicator bulb
High beam indicator bulb

Thanks in advance!

I’ve been able to reach a few in the chevelle without taking the dash a part. Is it the same twist and pull style bulbs?

Ok - so this wasn’t as bad as I thought. I unscrewed the steering wheel valence, removed a AC vent bridge under the steering wheel, then dropped the steering column. I had plenty of room to reach all of the bulbs!

These bulbs are different than my 69 Chevelle. They don’t have wirings coming off of them, which makes it way easier!

Took the wifey out on a date tonight in the GTO. The dash lights sure do look good in the dark, now!

Complementary pre date picture:
