Does any know how to remove the clutch z bar from the engine stud on a 66 GTO, I do not see a set screw or retainer to remove. wondering of it just pry's off the stud bulb. removed the nut from the U mount and figured it just slides off the other end.

You’re correct, with all of your linkage detached from the Z-bar and the nut loosened from the frame mount you should be able to pry up the assembly so that the Z-bar lifts up out of the frame mount allowing you to back it off the ball mount on the motor.
