I got the TA out and gave her a good wash and wax yesterday.
Almost takes as long to bypass the heater core and put it back, as to replace it. I thought it would take me most all day to do mine and it ended up taking me 3-4 hours. Used a long open end wrench to get to the bolt down the fender well. Even put it backHad a ticket for section P but stood trackside and hung out in the camping area with some guys I know that had two camping slots.
Some good racing last night. As you saw alot of the cars had trouble getting the tires to stick.
How about the one promod just crossing the finish line and rolling it onto its roof. Hope the dri er is ok.
Today I am heading down to Peotone annual charity car show. This one the proceeds are going to the animal shelter or they are taking donation of cleaning product ls etc....
No GTO drive thou. I have not gotten to bypassing the heater core. 😩
Have a good day all....
I got lucky someone before me didn't put that nut on, I tried to reach it before I started and it was close to impossible.Almost takes as long to bypass the heater core and put it back, as to replace it. My neighbor has one and he lost a lifter bank, while in Florida.Don't buy one if it has AFM. Those engines are prone to lifter failure. If gone undetected, like my old truck, by the time you know there's a problem your engine has eaten itself from the inside out. The roller tip on one of my lifers was so worn that is was concave instead of convex.
Ex GF had a 92 with the 4.3 and it was a rocket. Couldnt go up a 2 degree incline, in incliment weather, though. The S-10 was a great truck. My used 1992 S-10 with the 4.3/5-speed had 156,000 miles on it and was a mess, now 163,000 miles 6 years later. It has a salvage title, so it was totalled out at some point and pieced together. Someone was in the process of making a low rider out of it and did not know what they were doing. But, it had the engine/trans combo I wanted and I replaced parts to get it back into better shape. I yanked the bed off and replaced it with a flat bed made from materials I got at work, so cost me nothing. I use it very little only to go to Home Depot/Lowe's or pick up things I can't load in my car. No fun driving it to work in stop/go traffic for an hour with the 5-speed. It is peppy and has a performance muffler so when I want to hot rod around town and burn tires, I take it for a spin.

ooh, now your gonna get it.I’m not much of a car guy and appreciate the advice I’ve gotten over here thus far. So for all of you GTO folks who aren’t in the other forum where I constantly shitpost, if you need any food advice you can hit me up anytime.
