I am currently redoing my 1966 GTO hard top coupe.
I wish to safely remove the drip rails and the stainless strips on the tail light bezel.
Does anyone have experience in removal and installation of these pieces?

On the the drip rails I have had pretty good luck with just taking a 2 inch block of wood & tapping lightly on the bottom side, moving along an inch or two at a time all along the bottom side. Start from the back cause working on the front bend is trickee...After the clip is off do the small piece 1st to get the hang of it..Windows down of course..Good Luck!!!!Les

I appreciate your guidance. It sounds like a good building "block" from which to begin.
"Windows down", a nice reminder. You never know what a guy may try.
I am not fluid with this site, but I did snoop at your '64,,,,,,nice car.
