Good Morning All,

Having difficulty pinning down the cause. the car is a 1969 Tempest. Over the winter, I replaced all the front suspension wear items (bushings, springs, steering components). I have replaced the front brakes, drums, wheel cylinders, and hoses. the alignment is good, and the tires are new.

When the car is first driven, it tracks straight when braking... As I drive the car for a period of time, when I brake hard, it will pull to the right.

I have readjusted the left front wheel to be tighter, but this same situation still occurs.

Any ideas where to go next?

thanks,
Armand

Here is a guess that happened to me. Similar problem, pulling to the right, was the left brake hose. It was swelled up internally, limiting the fluid/pressure to left side, while the right was not restricted and braked normally. YMMV
