I went on my first cruise with Royal Carribean a few weeks ago, and just now I finally got the pics online. I thought I would tell the story through a few pictures...

Royal Carribean was very classy AND affordable. We were impressed with everything we could do on the ship.

Us

Our second port stop was Cozumel, Mexico. Most of the beaches were eroded still from the Hurricanes last year. This picture gives you an idea of the damage

I saw a picture of two men with guns, so naturally I snap a picture of them!

One of our excursions was the hideaway beach tour. We got to drive our own personal small two-seater boats out to a beach on the other side of the island.

It was cloudy, but that was a good thing since we both burn easy!

An injured raccoon we found.

The pool deck at night. Lot's of hot tubs, bars on either side, and not too crowded :D

We had to 'tender' our way off the ship to the city of Belize. I grabbed a cool shot of the vessel.

Belize was a horrible port stop...this is what we were greeted with. These people would literally follow you down the street for money.

More Belize

And more...the place was a dump!

Back on the boat

Rock climbing wall! She was so high she screamed...2 feet off the ground!

It was mostly cloudy the whole time, but we still got a good sunset.

That's my ugly mug :D

We took the car down, and on the way I chased and raced a Porsche Carrera 4 through the foothills of Tennessee, lined up with a Mitsu. Evo, and an SRT-4...I won them all! I did lose to a motorcycle, I believe it was a GSXR-1000. The car is amazing on road trips, it definately was a great vacation car. We plan to take it to Florida for the 4th of July :D

I love Royal caribbean. I have been on two in two years and going on another in August. I guess it is a bit easier being in Miami and only driving 20 min to get to the port. Where did you sail out of? BTW nice pics. If it wasn't for that glare you got the nighttime poolside pic could go in the brochure.

Yeah, I put about 3000 miles on my car but I wanted to do the drive. I'm sure there is a big difference between Carnival and Royal...but I've talked to friends, and they've said they had fun on both...so I'll just have to see :cheers

great pics.....I'm playing around with the Royal Caribbean website now.

I live in the Ft. Lauderdale area and my girl lives down in Miami so we could leave from either port. The prices are definitely very reasonable for a 3-4 night vacation.
