My real question though is have you had experience with this Octanium in case of an emergency or just wanting to go further without worrying? This engine setup with the cast “64” heads has been in this car since 1984. I just revived it after 15 years storage. Just wanna be safe to get it revived. Then go from there for heads? In the future.

Yes..... I have been using for 2 years ....... since Octane Supreme's pricing went way up....

Does what it's supposed to do.... I pick it up at Maple Grove at the Nationals right from the VP vendor..... $13.75 a quart
Thank you. Just trying to figure out what this car will run on. I’m guessing either this or 50/50 110 pct and 93 oct.

I did the 15-20% 110 leaded VP thing with my ‘67 wagon. It is a bit of a hassle but not too bad.

For my ‘69 coupe I’m really looking forward to my new 455 with 87cc aluminum heads, planning on 91 octane and maybe less.

Thanks for the input. That gives me a good starting point. Another question. I just replaced my gas tank with a new one and sender from NPD. I here conflicting info on is a 1972 Lemans tank really hold 20 gallons? Some say its really like 17…

Think heads manifold and who knows what else will be in my future but not before next year. Really wanna drive it while I still can this year. Been a long time since I have driven it.
