As you can see, a previous owner of my '67 2DR GTO cut holes in the doors to accomodate speakers. I'm repairing them but I don't know how long the channel is supposed to be. If anyone has a bare door, would you mind measuring it for me? Thanks in advance.

Sheetmetal and rivets or self-tapping lath screws, which have a pretty flat head.

Thanks. Sorry I didn't make this more clear. I'm going to weld the patches in (as can be seen on the right hole). What I'd like to know is how far into the left hole patch I need to cut for the window mechanism channel. If someone can measure the length of the channel for me it would be a great help.
