Ok, so I test drove this black/red 05 with 12K yesterday. I love it. I will probably end up buying it today. Question to you guys is:
Is that normal that when I put my foot on the clutch pedal while I'm driving, I can feel vibrations from the engine? How can I find out better if this car have a rubbing problem. I turn the front wheels all the way and there was no rubbing visable wear. Is that only on the front tires?

sounds like this car has a clutch that is worn out,,you should not feel any vibration when you step on the clutch while driving unless you have the RPMs well over 4000

Agreed the clutch is toast. Have them knock off another $1000 and get a new put in. gmpartshouse.com

I'm not sure if these are the same vibrations, especially since my car is an A4, but mine car does shake and shimy while at idle and that's perfectly normal.

As for the rubbing, you can ask them to put the car on a lift (best way to find out and perhaps the only way I'd do it) and actually take the wheels off. Inspect the front struts for any rub marks and the inside of the tires.
