I'm asking this since I'm trying to figure out just how accurate Lidar is.

Are there any documented records out there of handgun target grouping?

Usually, I would, but when I was in the middle of the pack, going with the flow of traffic at 70MPH and there are cars, SUVs, passing me on the left and right and moving behind me, then I'm not going to bend over for a ticket that says 80+MPH when I left my NSX in cruise control.

How hard is it to hit a moving car-sized target from 600ft with a handgun?

Ask a cop, he'll tell ya..........;)

600 feet is 200 yards. Me personally, can not hit a damn thing on iron sights with my Walther P99 past 25 yards (I have a flinch problem that needs correcting). But I also am not using 2X+ holographic sights like they are. I am lucky I can get less than 2-3" groups with any of my rifles on a bench at 200 yards on hand loads.

Beyond that... just get a jammer system. I know it's in my future. Legality aside, you're just simply illuminating on that particular wavelength, so what are you hurting other than the coffers of the tools of government oppression? ;)

I doubt a handgun is accurate at that distance. Need a riffle.
