HAHA! Yeah I know im not worried about it. A lot of cars are suprising. I followed a Honda on the way to the track and wouldnt have thought that car would run a low 12 so you never know what your up against. That is what makes it fun. Just thought I would share. I think I ran a 13.0 on that run. I think if i had another 1/2 mile I would have ran him down. LOL!
V-6? Anyone that runs an 11.70 is really fast, don't feel bad I got beat in my old 5.0 Mustang by a VW bug, but he ran 8.0 in the 1/8th, I couldn't touch him. But the announcer had to say that I was the car that got beat by the bug the next time I was on the line.. Go to the strip, you'll win some, lose some. 13.0 is a great run if you are somewhat stock.
Yep good times! I dont mind losing. Im really there just trying to beat my own time. 13.0 on that run. That was before the ported intake, tcm tune, and SS intake. So hopefully my new mods will be worth a tenth or two.
Yeah I just saw the video uploaded and thought v6? hmmm. I never looked at the car. I didnt think it was a v6 but people do some strange things so it could be and probably is. He has a bunch of other videos up there too. Any engine if it is built properly can be boosted to a pretty good power level and with a good setup like he has you really dont need a massive amount of power to turn a good time. I think if you run faster than a 11.50 you need a cage.
Yeah I get smoked by 4 cylinder hondas occasionally too. I just posted up the vid because I found it on youtube and I thought it was cool that I found it.
I think on a cooler day and with a cool engine I can probably get around a 12.7 or a 12.8 out of my car. Im looking into a 2800 or possibly a 3000 stall converter. I would like to have a solid mid- low 12 second car with bolt ons and I think a stall would be the easiest way to get it there.

This one is against a buddy that has a BMW 135i. Factory twin turbo car, forged internals, DCT fast shifting auto trans, and after market down pipes, Tial blow off valve, dual inlet intakes, MHD & tuning...
