I grew up in Arcata, and my parents still live in Eureka. I am in Washington due to the Navy.
I have raced at Samoa Drag Strip once, I won 1st and 2nd round, then it rained out, and I could not make it back for the re-run.

Wow, this is so cool. I'm active duty Marine Corps stationed in Southern Cali in 29 Palms. And my wife is up in Arcata going to school and working, so now when I get out of the military this summer and move up there I'll be able to join up with you guys over the summer.
