Has anyone done major moding to an 05 A4 yet? I wouldn't mind hearing some of the things you 04 guys or M6 guys have done either!

I am just curious right now. Waiting until school is done to start working on her. But I would like to know what $3-4000 can get me. Keep in mind I want it to be as sleeper as possible!

First off, get a 3200 stall converter, shift kit, and trans cooler. Should be a $1000 investment in parts.

Then, get full exhaust with headers, cats, catback. Should be $2000 investment.

Finally, with that extra grand leftover, upgrade your output and half shafts and get some drag radials.

heads and cam!! It will wallop a bit more but that is the combo to have!!! If you have anything left get a shift kit and/or stall converter.

heads and cam also require tuning and a sleuth of other items to buy. But if you DO decide to go with heads and cam, the top guy for LS engines is Cartek.

No major mods yet. CORSA Sport, LPE CAI, front tower brace and SLP rear bar. For major mods, I am looking at possibly doing the 450hp Lingenfelter package in the spring.

actually, it would be cheaper to go with a Magnuson blower from one of the vendors on this site. you get MORE power for less money.
