What do you guys think is the perfect starting point for performance modifications. I'm not talking about track killers, just noraml street driving. I am looking to enhance horsepower without killing my pocket book. I have an '04 A4 and I am looking to just bump the horses up a bit for starters. Any acvice?

I would say CAI, complete exhaust, then a dyno tune. That seems to be a popular way to go.

Skip-shift
Rip-shifter

Start with a cold air intake($175.00-$275.00)

Then cat back exhaust($500.00-$900.00)

If you still have the money flowin' in, a good computer tune($300.00-$800.00)

These are the first basic "starting point" modifications, and will provide a noticable jump in power and enjoyment for your car.:cool
