hey thanks for the heads up. i like those kind of deals.

Anyone used this starter? I have the usual heat soak issue with RA Manifolds and was wondering if this would solve it.

At that price I am giving it a try , thanks for the heads up O52.

I saw the post on the PY forum that O52 referenced. It takes you to the Holley website. Further ckg took me to the MSD Ebay site where shipping was free, so I ordered one. I later saw on the PY forum Race page that it is assembled in the USA with Chinese parts Should arrive in a week.

I thought that too at first, but when I re-read the post they were referring to a PowerMaster starter.

Still waiting on the scammer for a red starter. Really want one.

O52, you are correct, as usual. Well, mine should be here by the end of the week. Anxious to see what it can do! The black color has a bad rap of being a 'heat sink'. While black does absorb heat very fast. it also rejects it faster than most colors. Think about it. What is the purpose of a radiator or a condenser on a household A/C unit? To reject heat, right? And, generally, what color are they? BLACK

thanks again 052 for the heads up. i received mine today and it looks good. i can say that i weighed it and its 10.6 lbs. its lighter than stock.this will work well for my build.

Received mine yesterday. Haven't installed it yet and the only thing I see is it has been on the shelf since 2017. Looks like they were clearing out old stock. 8 were sold on MSD Ebay and it appears someone is flipping one for $250.

i figured someone would do that.
