A4

Well, do to the circumstances, I ended up with the A4. I grabbed it brand new off my relatives car dealership. It was the only one left and I got one heck of a deal. I couldnt go wrong. I am very pleased with it. It was good in a way, I didnt have to make a decision A4 or M6!:cheers

i got the 6spd don t ever try to teach a girl how to drive it eather. There is only a few i know that can even reach the pedals.

I tried the M/6 before I purchased the the A/4. I am not putting down any manual owners but the M/6 On the GTO has to be the worse trannie I have ever put my hands on. long throw, not a very positive feel, notchy sloppy shifter. It feels like it has one gear too many. GM did a poor job with the gearing in the trannie, but we are all happy with our purchases and that's what counts

6 speed manual. More work but more control, better gas mileage and fun!

(I do curse it when stuck in stop and go traffic, truth be told!)

I've got the M6, and love it. But I test-drove the A4, and was very impressed, quick & firm shifts, intuitive downshifts, very non-intrusive. Reminded me of the good old days when vacuum did one hell of a better job managing gearshifts than computers programmed by committee....I could've gone either way

???? Just power the seat forward... When my step-daughter was 15, all 108 pounds of her, I was letting her drive just about every morning in my M6 GTO with me to school, good practice in rush-hour traffic. She handled it great, and she's no "natural", the kid can hardly walk and chew gum...

She's 16 now, and I got her a 6-banger 5-speed-manual '07 Mustang to drive. She claims the GTO was easier, and she's right... All that smooth low torque makes the clutch-work almost mistake-proof... You hardly even need to use the gas.

Heck, my wife is what, maybe 5' 1"?? And that's generous... She fits the car, drives the car, just fine...

Don't know what you're talking about there....
