Now original Candelite Cream with Black Interior. Want a change! Will this hurt original VALUE?

If your car is numbers matching, in my opinion it would be more valuable restored to the original color as it was on the showroom in 66. If the drive train is not the original, paint it the color that makes you happy.

Even not-numbers-matching, a color change can lower the value of the car. My '67 is a numbers matching car, but I changed it from the original color of Signet Gold with gold interior to Burgundy with a Parchment interior in 1993. To me, the car looks MUCH better, more people comment on it, and I enjoy it more. If you're going to keep the car, do what you want. If you're trying to "flip" it for profit, keep it as original as you can.
