I just got my first goat. When i bought the car the original owner said the bcm was bad. The running lights, marking lights, horn, and windshield wipers are all powered. I i replaced the bcm bought a new key and had it programmed, it fixed it for about a day and now the new bcm is fried. I've tried to check ground wires but I'm not sure where all of them are. The harness underneath the glove box is fine. any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks

Are you 100% sure the BCM wires behind the box are good? The metal support is like a razor and can do a fine cut. In any case the wires should be wrapped with a split hose there to add assurance. Anything's possible with wiring but that has been about every short I've heard of.

Yes I'm positive the bcm wires behind the glove box are fine. I think the car might have been in a accident so I'm going to go through the harness under the hood

Ya there's something shorting out somewhere. Good luck. Electrical gremlins are the worst.
