This my first post with my new "kit" computer !! I bought a kit from Tiger Direct, put it together and got it running.......:willy: miracles DO still happen. I now have a modern motherboard that I can upgrade components on with a dual core cpu and twice the memory. It's also runniing Windows 7, which so far I like, but it will take time to learn all the new features and navigation methods.
Now I gotta go rebuild the 5th wheel on the Pete and drain the cooling system to replace the leaking O-rings on the oil cooler... I should get the hood back from being rebuilt, from the crash in July, on Monday and then it will be ready to go into storage....:) THEN, I go get the roto I bought 2 months ago and start on the GTO....

hehe, love building computers. I use to be into overclocking computers big time. I had one machine that had three phase-change coolers(refrigeration compressors), one on the CPU, one on the north bridge chip on the motherboard and one on the video card core and ran them at sub zero temps. At one time I held like 9 different world records running benchmark programs getting them to spit out huge #s for the equipment I had. There were alot of other guys doing it with mulipul phase units, but I was the only one able to do it and have all three units in a single computer case and have it all run with a push of a button like a normal computer.
I've been out of the computer loop now for a few years and the tech has skyrocketed while the prices have fallen a ton. Good time to be a geek again.:D
