Howdy everyone. Don't have a GTO yet, been dreaming for about a year... Driving a 1998 Grand Prix GTP right now... Saving every penny for a GTO. I just turned 18, and at the current rate I will be able to afford a 2004 GTO in about 2 years (if prices are about $20,000 to $22,000). Anyways, just saying what's up.

Hey welcome nice to have ya. Good to have another 18 year old on the forum :D

In two years I would think you'll be able to get an 04 GTO for cheaper than that. Not sure exactly how much cheaper, but time will tell.

Welcome

Welcome to the "family."

Once you're "in," there's only one way out. :shutme

My daughter is now driving my '99 GTP. It's just about to 100,000 and I think I hear the tell-tale squeak of a water pump going out in the not too distant future.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Hopefully after it's fixed I can get about 3 grand for it, that'll put me to $3,490 or somethign near there. Working at Dick's Sporting Goods isn't the best money, but it's bringing me about $100 a week to put into savings, so $1200/year into savings isn't all that bad for a part-time student High School student I guess. Only problem is when I go to college for my MBA I don't think I will have that much time for work, so I am going to have to save up a big down payment so I can get about $150-$200/month payments, since insurance is about $170-$190 if I get on my mom's plan.

Anyways, there's my story which I am sure not too many are interested in... haha. Oh well, hopefully I will learn and meet some new people here.

Did you mean $100 a month? Cause $100 a week would be $5200 a year.
Not trying to nit pick, just thought I would point it out! Good luck on getting your goat! :cheers
