I've got one. We should gab before you put it in. Shoot me a PM.

It's a good unit. There are a few things that are CRITICAL to a successful installation:

1. Have a crapload of extensions and elbows available for your socket wrench. You are going to need them to get at the bolts that hold the boot down. In order to get at them, you'll need to reach around the transmission. Crappiest part of the job.

2. Apply the RTV sealant around the opening in the transmission. Do NOT put it on the base of the shifter. Also, align the shifter right where you want it about 1/4 inch from the transmission, then drop it straight down. Don't reposition it at all -- as you'll end up breaching the sealant which will lead to a leak.

3. Put a strip of electrical tape about 10 inches long on the stick. Run it up the shaft, over the top, then down the other side. Prevents the knob from rattling.

I'm sure there are a few other things, but that's all I can think of now. Great project to do over the turkey day weekend.
