Just received my new ride...One 2005 gto impulse blue, black int
18 inch factory wheels ..4000 miles and like new..just love it

K & N , what do you all think,does it add enuf hp and gas mileage
improvement to warrant the price? Thanks for input..T

Congrats. There are some guys in here who've already done the K&N installation. Think it's pretty straightforward. I'll defer to them to offer counsel. Good luck and enjoy.

Just added my K&N and really like it. There are other brands available but I prefered the K&N for personal reasons. At first, I didn't think it added any power. But the following night after work, I tested it and realized it makes the car spin the tires far more easily. Taking off is a skill learned but after you hit 3rd, the car has lots more power. It seems to rev much quicker as well. You will definatly need to work on upgrading tires to make the most of it. Well worth it!
