had the rotors warp on both my '94 Z28 and the '02 SS and it is a chronic problem with all fbod's so I don't think you'll get away from it.

After 1 warranty turning I finally just threw on set of Power Slots and Hawk Pads. I don't care for drilled rotors as I've had 'em crack SCCA road racing.

After the dealer's done the warranty, and if it happens again. you might consider the upgrade, but to be honest I've haven't seen the warpage problem on the GTO's come up yet like it became chronic on the Fbods.

Personally, haven't had a single rotor warp yet. 10K on the car, daily driver.

By 7k on the SS fronts were history.

Gotta stop the 100 mph to zero, 200 ft stops :D

If the dealer covers it, I wouldn't consider it an issue. If the dealer doesn't, consider it an opportunity to upgrade. My F-body rotors wraped early in life and I got some good quality aftermarket and never had a problem again.
