I can't understand why the 05 Stang GT is the same 0-60 as the 04 GTO when the gto's power to wieght is 1+lbs less??????
Anyone explain this to me
thanks....
The 05 Mustang is geared for the 1/4 plus the solid rear axle helps get it off the line. If the GTO was geared the same, I'm sure you would see similiar results.
I suspect Ford take extra care to make sure all is "tuned" when they turn their Mustangs over to the auto magazine staff to drive. Unlike the GM products, I don't see the 'stangs on the street perform as well as in the magazines.
You'll never see 13.5 in the 1/4 from the 300 horse mousetang. I could'nt believe it when I read it. 14.0 is more like it! I love blasting them with my WS-6 (the old ones) can't wait to kill a new one. Hard to get a race with them. Usually they run from me. I'm sure someone with a new will want to try out my bird. Can't wait. Also I can't wait to get an 05 goat. I'm buying one as long as they don't mark them up.
