HI everyone,
I'm new to the forum, sorry, no photo yet. I am rebuilding a '64 GTO. I bought it back in 1971 when I was a senior in high school. It is going it's 3rd metamorphosis after being apart for about 25 years. The distributor is a dual point, no vacuum advance, no mechanical advance. From the numbers on it, it seems it probably came from a Super Duty from back in 1960-1963. It's in good shape as far as the bushings and gear are concerned. I am having trouble finding points and rotor/cap combinations for it. It is a Delco Remy, 1110976 date 01-39. One sold on Ebay a short time ago for $995. I'd like to keep it "old school", not upgrading it to the electronic coil and distributor. Does anyone have part numbers for the cap, rotor, points, and condenser? The parts I have do not have numbers on them, so it's hard to cross reference them and get new ones. Thanks for any help on the distributor. Ray
