Hi Everyone,
In dismantling my 1966 dash bezel, I noticed that 2 of the 4 heater control bolts have stripped threads, so the "speed nuts" cannot be tightened fully.(most of the threads are good, except right at the bottom so nut cannot be fully tightened) I believe that the studs are pot metal. Anyone have any good advice as to rebuilding the threads? (I was thinking about trying to use some JB Weld to try and rebuild the threads, but I am sure that someone else has already figured out a better way). Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Hi Jim - It was my first thought, but was concerned about them working loose. Maybe that's the best option, though.

Thanks PontiacJim and GTOJunior! I appreciate your input and feedback. I'm sure that I'll have more questions going forward, so your experience is very much valued.
