I bought my 66 GTO with a 3 row aluminum radiator. It has not cooled the car (up tp 230) on a hot day in a cruise. I contacted a hot rod shop radiator specializing in rods.. He said that brass radiators are better a for cooling that Aluminum!! If I can find the Large Tanks (ie factory air radiator tanks) he can build me a solution to my cooling problem. So far I am unable to find those large tanks..........any ideas where to get em?? my GTO came as a non factory air car, but I have installed VINTAGE air. 389 4 bbl ..davyinchico

Don’t know it can help any , but I have a 17” 4-core Harrison , not sure which one, thats actually not bad looking , prev owner put it in & it worked well, I don’t have AC, just had a pinhole leak somewhere ,I didn’t mess with it, just Swapped it out of my ‘64 for an Ames DesertCooler Brass Hi-E 17” 4 core that works well, the Harrison has the two AT Tank Fittings on bottom which I didn’t use and could be just plugged off, it’s just been sitting in the Ames box for 6 months ..
the Desertcore Works well in its place but yeah they aren’t cheap
