Nice! Ok I have a question. How did you get the chime for your shift points?

Thanks
my current mods are an HPtune, Lingenfelter CAI, Corsa Sport cat back, and a GMM "street"

The chime was part of having my shift light activated at whiteautoandmedia
he is GTPprix on this site and the only one who can do it.

it was a little awkward at first but now I absolutely love it. It was worth the next day shipping costs and the couple days without the GTO. BTW, six screw to get out the cluster, easy as pie...

oh, here are a couple more videos from the track day with GTO's

Here's that red c6 putting a hurting on an orange GTO

My mods went like this- put the catback on, took it for a ride, notice 0 seat-of-the-pants difference. Put the CAI on and the car seemed a little more responsive. Then I got it tuned.

The tune netted me about 10-15 hp/tq. It's a little hard to determine exactly because it was tuned twice and on two different dynos but I am currently sitting at 350/350 to the wheels on a more conservative dyno. However, the gain does not tell the whole story.

Where I noticed the biggest difference was coming off the clutch in first and second. The stock tune pulls timing and torque delivery down low in the first three gears if it thinks the car is going to be abused. I'm sure you've heard stories of and/or felt yourself GTO's feeling sluggish; like they don't have 400hp off the line, bogging, inconsistent, etc.

I don't have that, now. It feels clean and crisp coming off the clutch, with full power delivery. I'm sure GM did what they did to reduce wear on the drive train and to help keep inexperienced drivers out of the ditch. Now, even with traction control on, mashing the gas in first results in lots of noise and smoke...not to mention you can tune out the 1-4 shift, top speed limiter and adjust the fan settings
