I need carbon core spark plug wires.
Blue ones
90 degrees for the stock dist cap.
45 degrees for the plugs.
sounds simple huh?

Why do these type wires have 500 ohms per foot?
this seems extremely contradictory for a high voltage system.
at 3 feet that's 1500 ohms.
How the heck can there be a consistant spark per cylinder??
thats going to drop the current a lot.
what's the deal with this?

carbon core have high ohms since the "wire" is only fiber with carbon \ graphite dispersed throughout. there is no metal except on the wire ends. With a high voltage coil, that 1500 ohms is nothing. Buy Ford V8 wires, they are usually blue.
