I don't know if this is just because the clutch is so new - but anytime I do any type of spirited driving, the cabin is filled with a burning scent. I can understand if I was dropping the clutch doing burnouts, but that is not the case, just some more aggressive shifting here and there in traffic. Anyone else have this issue/problem?

Also - My buddy who is a die hard Ricer (he has a sweet Turbo Supra& an Acura Integra) loves the GTO and said it is the first "American" car he was consider owning.

Technically not too much of it is American, but a damn nice Australian car :)
Anyways, I had the same thing when I bought mine, for the first couple of hundred miles anyways. I no longer get that, must be just breaking it in

Mine aswell. I was worried cause I blew mine out on my Audi and got a stage 3 after that. Guess it's normal

Clutch drops will not result in a smelly clutch, slipping the clutch will.
