EASY enough to run a tape measure up through the pocket. If you put the wrong arms on the car, though, I think you would be opening yourself up to multiple things being different.

Obviously, find out whether 67 and 68 use the same length shock

Well, 67 shocks are longer than 68... and so your shocks should be too long, not too short.

I am thinking the pocket location is deeper than stock.

Well, maybe Im a bigger idiot than I thought, but IMO, lowering the pocket, also lowers the top. In other words, regardless of pocket depth, the distance is established by the coil spring.

I would set the car down, tires on the ground, install 67 shocks, and be done.

Youll be fine. If it doesnt steer or track straight, do a basic alignment yourself or take it to Firestone. I did my Vette and GTO myself.

Mine... and I do the alignments myself. I converted the rear cams over to Global West turnbuckles

@armyadarkness So how much caster are you running? I do a rough alignment at home. There are small town places where you can go in and watch what is being done.
