Morning everyone,

I am having an issue with my passenger tail light. When driving both tail lights are working. However, when I apply my brakes the passenger tail light goes out.
I've tried looking through the manual to see if there is anything that could help but was unable to locate anything.

Has anyone has this issue or know what i should look into?

Had this problem on my Ford Ranger but it has to be similar. It turned out to be a bad ground on that side. (Drivers side in my case) The tail light and brake light circuits are both grounded when they're off. One will find a ground through the other as long as only one is on at time. When you hit the brakes, both circuits are on, you have no ground so every thing goes off. I fixed it by replacing the socket.

I had the same problem. Mine was the actual bulb connector. I had to disconnect my battery and pry the small contacts out that are inside of the socket where the bulb goes...PLEASE DISCONNECT THE BATTERY OR YOU WILL BE REPLACING FUSES OR WORSE.
