Went to the track tonight. I got to run some great cars. The temp and humidity were real high so the times are way off my best.
I ran an 03 Cobra that was bone stock. I ran a 13.425 at 106.47 to his 13.551 at 107.40. It was a real seesaw, he got me outta the hole then I took him midway through 2nd to the end but he was coming back up.
I ran a 1994 Corvette that had headers, exhaust, intake, fuel regulator, bigger injectors, 3.73 gears and DR's. He ran 13.395 at 106.5 and I ran 13.507 at 105.84. I didn't let it cool enough and it was real hot and humid. The temp started at 82 and dropped to 77 and the humidity went from 75 to 92 %.
Last run was 99 Mustang Cobra. He had a head and cam package, headers, no cats, x-pipe Basani exhaust, pulleys, redone computer, 3.73 gears, and 15" drag slicks. He had also lightened the car (no back seat, spare, etc). He got me out of the hole with a 1.61 60' to my 2.05 60'. We ended up at 13.424 at 106.68 for me and he had a 13.334 at 104.21. I was catching him at the end, but his hole shot killed me.
Oh well it was lots of fun and I got to watch the car turn 2000. I'm thinking with another 3-4k on the odometer, plus some DR's I'll drop 2-3 tenths. Then when it cools off in November I can look for 12's again.
