That happened to me quite some years ago. I have finally managed to qualify for the safe drivers discount with Allstate. Ahhhh the joys of getting older.yamaal14 said:one more ticket and I lose license, time to slow down. anyone else?

ShadesOfGrey
I think my insurance company messed up. I got a bill for $380.00 for 6 mo coverage... I'm 27 and male...ShadesOfGrey said:Thanks to that, I'm now 35, and Full Coverage on my new 05 Cyclone Grey M6 is only about $900/yr. (Within $40 of what my '01 Wrangler Sport costs)
well dont tell them :lol:The_Goat said:I think my insurance company messed up. I got a bill for $380.00 for 6 mo coverage... I'm 27 and male...

Country Insurance & Financial.... though I work for their competitor (which quoted me 577/ 6 mo). I was told the GTO did extremely well in rollover tests and thats a major reason for lower premiums.JMVorbeck said:Thats exactly what mine costs, you have Allstate?
The irony for me with regards to ins. premiums is that I got rid of my 2001 KIA Spectra for my Goat. My KIA had a 125HP 1.8L 4 banger, my Goat a 400HP 6L 8cyl and my insurance went down $75 per policy period (6mo.). Insurance companies are really weird. And all the while I was looking and waiting to get the 05 when it came out, I was dreading what my insurance would go up to.The_Goat said:Country Insurance & Financial.... though I work for their competitor (which quoted me 577/ 6 mo). On a side note, I talked to a Pontiac dealer over the weekend. I told him I hadn't seen any GTO's around. He said 2 shipped out of state, 2 have been totaled (by drunk owners) and 1 is still around somewhere.
