i was told by a guy on this forum to remove these to reduce weight. anyone know of these and where they are located exactly?

It's a V-shaped piece of metal that weighs about 13 lbs. It's located under the large piece of black plastic underneath the rear of your car (directly below your spare tire if your looking upward from below the car). Hope this helps.
