well the title says it. everyone says i need to try a quadrajet on my 69 so im offering up the 750 dual feed 3310-10 the car has on it now for trade for a quadrajet from a 400. car runs great with it on, no issues. pm me

Yes, but that's an accurate and subjective statement. Quadrajets are/ were awesome, but the market is now flooded with horrendous and defective units, right out of the box. When I contacted the worlds Qjet gurus, they point-blank told me that they would not accept more than 90% of the cores that I would send them, so not to bother.

All of the parts-house carb re builders out there, used drill bits and epoxy to permanently modify the cores, all that needs to be corrected before a qjet can be adequately tuned.

A quadrajet was brilliant in it's flexibility and adaptability, but any tuned Holley copy is capable of matching it.

So I wouldnt generically give up a great Holley for a potentially poor Q.
