I fit a 70 on a 16, so... not sure how much longer a 67 is.

Funny thing is, were discussing stainless brake lines in another thread.

I drove 2 hours away to pick up that Lemans Sport, with a Ram 2500 HD, and as soon as I got on the freeway, the brakes went out because the rear line just disintegrated. The truck was only 6 years old.

Your '67 is a little over 17'. An 18 could be a tight fit depending on trailer design. Personally, I would go with a 20'.:)

Was that an open trailer?
just as i figured a 20 will do it since the gto is the largest of my cars i was going to size it to the gto then all the others will fit

Yes. My boss found out I was a Pontiac guy, so he gave me a 70 Lemans Sport, that he bought new. I had to pick it up in 2012, 2 hours away.

Did you use an enclosed trailer? And if so what length?

Open trailers and my '67 GTO:
The16' flatbeds work with about 10" to 12" hanging out over the rear of the trailer to achieve proper tongue weight (we are nose heavy with our GTO's). Had one and sold it.
I have an 18' flatbed and the proper balance is achieved with the back bumper even with the rear of the trailer and that leaves enough room in front for gas cans or a small pit bike.
Would much prefer a 20' because that would bring the rear in slightly and have a couple feet open in front for more storage.

I did have a nice 24' enclosed and the balance point of that was the rear bumper of the car about 4" inside the close door. That left enough in front for a workbench and walking room between it and the car. If I had to do over I would go at least a 28' enclosed and a 32' would be perfect. I sold the enclosed with the drag car. It was much more of a pain to tow and it always felt like there was an open parachute behind me and fuel mileage was consistently 4 MPG less. But pull up for eats or overnight and it was a good feeling to know the car was inside a locked box. Yeah, they could have taken truck and trailer but we had some other protections in place for that. I remember towing to a far event years ago with my open trailer and friend had his enclosed. Had a lot of rain on the way and I cleaned my car for a couple hours while the friend pulled his car out sparkling clean and ready to show.

I drove to the Arizona show but my son and son-in-laws with the big cars trailered. The 2+2 is on a borrowed red 16' trailer and wagon on the black 18'. Both the big cars have a better balance point than our A-bodies.

66's and 67's look huge because of those slab-sided quarter panels. However, parked side by side next to my '69, the '69 is actually a little bigger.

No, an open trailer. Enclosed are not for the faint of heart. 6 foot wide is the standard for an enclosed trailer... which makes trailering a car impossible cause you cant get out of the doors. Unless you use a winch!

And when you go to 7 foot wide, it gets real hard to make turns, and more experience is required.
Found an old photo from 2002 with the '67 on the 18' trailer. Rear bumper set to the end of the bed for correct tongue weight.
