Hey guys I’m going to be putting 66 tripower on my 66 gto. Do any of you guys know of a good tuning shop here in the San Francisco Bay Area that knows tripower set ups really well?

I can't help you there but why not give it a shot yourself? If you have a timing light and a vacuum gauge and basic hand tools, you can probably knock this out yourself. I'm in the middle of putting a tripower onto my 326 and I'm having a blast learning as I'm doing. There is a lot of info on the board as well as members (who have been helping me tremendously...Thanks PontiacJim!) Either way, good luck!

The tuning part is nothing more than a two barrel carburetor, run the screws in/out until it sounds/feels smooth. There is no tuning on the end carbs, just make sure when you have WOT, the throttle plates are wide open, adjust the linkage accordingly. This is assuming your don't have any problems with the carbs and it is progressive linkage, non vacuum. This is the simple version!!
