Vent window fix

My driver side vent window has no friction and just flops open and closed. I used a borescope camera to look inside the door and saw this.
Do you think I can fix this by just buying a vent window hardware kit from Ames?
It looks like the threaded rod portion might be rusting away. Can this be replaced or does the whole vent window frame need to come out?

I think I see now that the slotted washer at the top of the stack above the U bracket keeps the vent window shaft from pulling down through the spring. I'll have to figure out how to remove the vent window assembly. Something so simple is turning out to be so much trouble.
Thank's GTO4BEN and GTOJUNIOR. Those are perfect. Thanks for making that.

It's not the easiest job, I had to take the crank mechanism and window loose and drop it down in the door to get the vent assembly out, you do have all the screws out right?

I removed three screws in the front upper door frame, a screw in the upper door panel, and the adjusting bolt in the door panel at the bottom. This is a 2 door sedan so there is no vertical piece in the front by the hinges like the frameless doors. I've got a body manual and it looks like it should at least be loose. I don't see any other fasteners in the exploded views.

Nothing moves at all except the vertical window guide wiggles at the bottom. It's like the upper portion is glued into place in the door frame, which is very likely.

I'm going to put the old hardware back on for now and live with the floppy vents until the winter when I won't be driving the car much and can spend a lot of time with it.

Idk then maybe you're right, it is a good winter project and make sure you get the right gasket kit...sedan is different from coupe, idk why but I found out the hard way.
