Looking to buy a new black steering column with floor shift.
Any suggestions on where to buy?

Whichever one would be easier to work on and find parts. Non-tilt
You might like an aftermarket steering column if you are going to install it and have some mechanical skills. I opted for a tilt steering column that I sourced from OPGI for my '68 Lemans.

I thought I had posted a complete write-up on the column and the changes needed, but can't seem to find it. I did find a post where I did include a few pics and some info on the column. This is an aftermarket column and I got mine in polished stainless steel, but prepped it and used metal etch primer and then a semi-gloss black.

I have not installed it, so I know I will have to do a little fabricating of brackets that hold the column to under the dash. The factory '68 has the mounting bracket installed, the new column does not. Shouldn't be a big issue once I can get it into place and then figure out my options.

I can post more info if you need.
